| I had NO idea what I was doing, entering the Arlington VA market. We were overseas, first time homebuyers, looking for “the perfect house” with lots of “must haves” from school systems, to walking distance requests, to budget concerns… we thought we’d never find a house. Then we met Liz! She is amazing because she incorporates all of her expertise into her relationships – she brings her legal knowledge, her diplomatic negotiation skills, her awareness of living in different Arlington neighborhoods personally, her relationships with other realtors and lenders and surveyors and more. She’s the whole package. And she’s patient, answers every question thoroughly. She follows up with more information than I was able to absorb sometimes – which made me really trust her expertise. She had an answer to every question – no matter how big, small, or sometimes probably quite naive – with lightning speed, patience, and clarity. At some point I couldn’t believe she had other clients – she made us feel like she was out there all the time “just for us”! She also ensured the process went so smoothly and fast. We visited some houses together in person, and MANY virtually. I started to trust her opinions and she really knew what we were looking for. And once we found a place, she was laser focused. Our friends have been shocked that we saw a house on a Sunday, had an offer accepted the next day, and then closed within a month. She knows ALL the ins and outs of how to do this well, and how to get the paperwork done. Starting with her choices of lender options and how accessible everyone was put us at ease. Liz reassured us about our plans every step of the way, and repeatedly reached out to tell us what to expect. Her “How To” videos and blogs and helpful emails made us feel comfortable that she wouldn’t let us miss a step. We couldn’t recommend her more highly. For those of us who feel daunted by the experience of buying a house (which is so many of us lately, especially those of us buying later in life)… Liz is the way to go! I recommend her 100%, and I’m sure we wouldn’t be celebrating our new house without her. Especially if you’re in the State Department’s Foreign Service, for example, Liz’s understanding of our lifestyle and processes and her ability to do this time zones apart is astounding! 5 stars seems too little! |
